Based on the feedback we have received from you we have made navigation improvements! All employee pages can be accessed with one or two clicks. The Absence Request page has been replaced with Manage Absence page. The new Manage Absence page and the Enter Time page have been moved under the My Time and Absence Tile. Enhanced ESS and MSS Enter Time Page The Enter Time page on ESS and MSS has a simplified look with many enhancements that include improved employee header information, better user accessibility, and a display of total hours by row. The below screen print shows the new Enter Time page New Manage Absences Page for Employees and Managers The employee and manager User Experience is being enhanced by combining the Request Absence, Cancel Absences, Absence Balances and View Requests pages, into one unified page. In addition, the page includes a new holiday calendar and updated at-a-glance Absence Balances, directly on the page. The Manage Absences page is replacing the Request Absence page. Employee Self Service: HomeMy Time and AbsenceMy Absences Manager Self Service: HomeManage My TeamTeam Time and AbsenceManage Absences New Position Warning Messages when making an updating Position preparers will now receive warning messages when processing position updates that may result in the incumbent not getting updated. The preparer can choose to cancel and return to the position form to make modifications or proceed with submitting the change. Once approved, it is recommended to continue running the Job Position Audit Report to review any mismatches between position and job data, and work with Central Payroll to make corrections if needed. Additional Pay Upload Enhancement to Eliminate the need to Enter Costing Costing is not required for some earnings codes including, but not limited to , BUC, COV, FEP, FLB, GCC, GNT, GTX, IMP, MAP, MRL, NML, NPD, PPK, RBN or TAP; if costing is added to the file for earning codes that don’t require costing, the costing on the file is what will be used. If no costing is provided, the costing used will be appointment level, position level or department level, in that order. Prior to this release, the costing on the file for these earnings codes was ignored. Job Data for Seasonal Leaves (Extract, Upload, and Inquiry) Seasonal leaves (action LOA, action reason SEA) and returns from them (action RFL, action reason UNP) can now be processed in bulk via job data extract/upload process.
